hi

what wire would you recommend for the hobby P450 energiser?
also do I need to run a plastic pipe underneath the soil where the run door is or does anybody know of a better way of doing it.

Just get which ever wire your local farmers merchant sells.

I would advise simply stepping over the electric wire and not burying it. The fox is just as likely to dig under the door to your pen as anywhere else.

It's worth getting a good quality wire as the cheaper ones have very thin conductive strands which increase the resistance and therefore decrease the current.

You've got a good unit there by the way.
