I have some icing in various colours left over from a birthday cake made last week.
Does anyone know how long this will keep, or if it can be / should be frozen.
Seems a shame to throw it out when I will probably have to make another cake soon.

Can you wrap it in cling film and put it in a ziplock freezer bag?

I'm assuming it is just icing sugar and glycerine, so nothing to "go off" (only hard)

Do you mean the block if so ive just used some i opened at chriztmas just bagged it up well so i wont dry out it was fine .

Have packed it up as  suggested, will open it up in a few weeks and use for another birthday cake hopefully
