Over Wintered Peas

Hi

Did anybody try planting Peas to over winter.

I did and they wer looking realy good, about 4/6 inch and healthy - but they are now looking very SAD.

Never tried too much bother & too unpredictable.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Did it last year and they survived and I got a small crop quite early. However I've decided I haven't got room for the necessary number of plants to make it worthwhile so I've since concentrated on sugarsnaps and mangetoutes in the summer and freeze them.
They were really nice straight from the pod but we need to grow enough to eat!!!

Agreed, tried, looked great, got loads of snow,i tried to protect them, last week they looked shabby. The chickens liked them though. Roll on march!
