Thanks that is an impressive settup. So a rabbit hutch seen in your picture is that suitable for mum and chicks and would i need to put a ramp to help chicks get invand out when they are ready to follow mum?? Sorry for all the questions  :)

Yes it is fine, the one in the second section is taller and better for large fowl.  I only used a ramp for a few days, a plank placed at the front is fine.  They are very quick to find they can jump and flap their way about.  Especially when you are trying to catch them!   ::)

I used a rabbit hutch for my ducks and changed the hinges on the door from the side to the bottom so that there was a ramp on opening. It worked very well. :)

Just a thought - as hutches have a mesh front I did cover this up leaving a gap for ventilation at the top :)
