This week has been the first where i've had an egg everyday off my pullets. We've got two ladies but we've only had one egg each day. I dont know if one is laying and one isn't but looking at the shape i suspect they are each laying every other day. Yesterday we got this huge egg! it weighs 70g compared to the usual 40g!! I wonder if one's taken a few days to get it out?

different sized eggs do happen when they first start laying as does laying eggs with double yolks and the occasional shell less/soft shelled eggs. This should all settle down after a few weeks when they get into the proper routine  .
