Just been back out as all of thegirls being noisey and i have my first egg, found 1 of the girls sat in the nesting box but the egg was on the tray below the perches, i know it must have been her as i have checked about 30 times as its the first day today. will see how they get on and may have to get some dumby eggs. over the moon. Will have it tommorrow with a bi of bacon

my 3 girls gave me 3 eggs yesterday and 3 today, over the moon. I would like to think that this means there happy but i guess its just what they do. all are now laying in the nesting box too.

How long doesit take for them to come up to you ? mine are still a little jittery and run off when i open the run door, they will let me give them a stroke when there on there perches in the coop.
guessing this just takes time.
