Members Diaries - More like a blog

I've just set up a blog-post, and a comment post. I think its a cracking idea. Seems, in some ways, to be less onerous than writing a blog post, so hopefully I can contribute "what I've been doing" in a way that other folk will either find useful or a target for ridicule

Just set mine up as I think this is a great idea.

Just a question though, do you think it would be best to modify the original post and update it each day, as was done in the old thread.

Or, would it be best to reply to the post for each update, so each days activities are in a seperate post.

I'm happy to do either but it would be better if we were consistent.

I think I will have a new post for each month, which I will update as we go through the month.  It seems like a nice clean way to keep it organised.

I use the UNREAD POSTS SINCE LAST VISIT link to look at what has changed since my last visit. I don't think that updates if you MODIFY an existing post (but could be wrong on that) but, either way, it jumps to the most recent post - so adding a post might make it easier to see what was new since the last time I read that thread (i.e. if I'm away and you post several updates then next time I look my browser will scroll the first unread post to be in view, whereas if you re-edit I will have to try to remember where I got up to last time) ... but as Auntie says, up to you

You will find a section to add a topic to for any comments to your diary at the top of the page.

Anyone who still has an entry in the old "Members Diary" topic and would like it moved to the new Diaries section please send me a PM.
