Title: First eggs
Post by: evie2 on March 31, 2011, 17:08
Last week one of our poots laid an egg outside in the run, not too much of a surprise as the 4 older ones are just coming in to lay.

It was no bigger than a marble and perfectly round  ???

Now I thought it would be a wind(?) egg so imagine our surprise when it was broken open to reveal a perfectly formed, if tiny yolk and white

So Iit got me wondering, has anyone else had this happen?

They make really nice cakes (high yokl to white ratio) you just need a few of them ;)
