Hello. I've just started an allotment last summer in Eltham. Very fertile and well draining but lots of nettles and fat hen! Some couch grass but I am driving tiles in to create a barrier. I have inherited a partially successful asparagus patch which was grown from seed, and interplanted it with autumn corms in the gaps. Have planted heritage apple oblique cordon.
