hi everyone,
just got four warrens yesterday. hours drive to get home. went in coop ok let out in run this morning. came out easily. dont like keeping in the small run under coop. how long before i can let them freerange in the garden.

About 5 days should be OK taximan.  They'll know where home is by then :)

just had to put feeders hanging on chains, they scratted everything into them. big learning curve.

if begging doesnt work, they will start mugging you when you sit out, jumping on your knee to see what you have to eat.
dont go out in a dressing gown, they will have your legs...lol

Hi Taximan, 
I got my hybrids at the end of June and am amazed at how clever they are well at least one is.  She knows to come peck at the patio door and we come and lift and stroke her if we take some time she goes into the garage and wait till someone appears.  Bird brained she isn't! I agree with Aunt Sally our wee hens are great. x

they are lovely . all go off to bed now. they know when they see the corn on the cob it good trying to kill it before i can hang it up.even dug a dust bath but they,ve filled it in now.so still dont know if their clever yet.
