I have two easter egg chickens.They both just started laying.So far I have gotten the same color egg every time.I thought that they layed a different color every time.....Maybe a new color will come soon....I would love to know.    Thanks!

My understanding is that a hen generally lays the same coloured eggs each time.  

My meadosweet Ranger (red hen) lays cream coloured eggs and my Bovans Nera (in avitar) lays dark brown ones.

I have 18 chicken's all together.And two of them are easter egg chickens.One is laying green and the other is laying brown.Is that the color they will allway's lay?

i had one layed star coloured eggs swapped it for one that layed chocolate bars as i dont like easter eggs myself
