If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

Most savoys are for eating after Christmas, so they have plenty of time ;)
Greyhound is one of those that can be grown most of the year, so will depend when you planted and also the weather...so that one's not so easy  ::)

Did you make sure the soil was really firmed when you planted them...planting into soft soil can mean they don't make a heart, just stay as loose greens :(

Hmm, I just had a thought... I always prefer the darker outer leaves of cabbage, over the paler inner leaves of the hearts... so... if I don't firm the ground up, does that mean I'd get more darker green outer styled leaves??? (more of what i like?) :)
