This is a really easy thing to do with chilli, which doesn't involve cutting them.  Fill a screw top wine bottle, with whole chillis then add sherry sweet or dry or whatever, depending on your taste or whats cheapest. After a short time you can use it to zap up all your soups, casseroles, etc etc.  As the bottle gets low just top the sherry up.  if you put it into little flip-top bottles and label, it makes good gifts.   I have got loads more chilli recipes if anybody wants.   Mrs.  Bouquet

yes please, Mrs B, if all my flowers fruit i will have around 200!!! :shock:

not sure about sherry though - nasty incident with some in my youth - not sure i could stomach it even now.

Please post your recipes  :)
