Greenhouse repair
« on: February 15, 2008, 13:55 »
Hi chaps,

I've in herited a battered greenhouse on my plot and am wanting to get it ready for this year.

There's glass missing, some panels are plastic? but seem flimsy. Also the door is missing.

Can you buy replecement doors? I guess glass can be got locally from a glass firm?  What is the best thickness? 3mm? Any of you Yorkshire chaps recommend a glaser to get it?

I have some w clips and the s hangers.

Thanks,

Cudders

On our site a survey of all the local skips would be made. A shower enclosure and someone's old porch roof would be quickly incorporated into the structure and before you know it it would be full of peppers and aubergines, with a grape vine growing over the top.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
