Is it too cold to plant raspberries/blackberries?
« on: March 17, 2013, 09:58 »
I recently received my 6 autumn raspberries (actually it was over a week ago) and my 3 blackberry Reuben on Friday, I have almost finished preparing the bed they are going in, but the weather is set to turn colder again.  Should I hold off planting them until the frosty (-2 C predicted for mid-week here) has finished, or put them in now (although we have been forecasted for heavy rain for the next few days).
