This is irrelevant. The question is how to deal with the cat emptying its bowels on your plot, not advocating we get rid of all feline pets, and saying it is not as bad as something else is a far too overused logical fallacy.

I was told cut up orange peel scattered around works. Mind I have no idea if is does as I have never put it to the test.

I criss cross bamboo sticks across raised beds on the surface, seems to work ok.
