« Last post by steven c on Today at 07:34 »we normally grow Alderman peas very good crop but we have suffered with pea moth both at home and allotment [now only growing at home] we are trying Kelvedon Wonder in the hope they are done by time moth comes? I am going to try Alderman as a later sown crop to avoid moth has anyone an idea when to sow i was thinking mid May I read that moth is about between June and July.

« Last post by jaydig on Yesterday at 19:31 »Cavolo Hero - I usually add just a sprinkle of lime and rake it in well about a week before planting out. The feed/chicken pellets/6X or whatever you choose can be added when they start to look more like little onions/leeks than bits of grass. Keep them watered well and hopefully you should get a decent crop.
