whats lurking in your shed ?
« Reply #15 on: September 25, 2007, 21:19 »
I had a flash many moons ago couldnt get to sleep it felt like sand in my eyes.at the time I didnt know what it was  :(

we had one of those safety talks the other week at this place (shell) and your not allowed the pull cords on your jackets (the ones that tighten your hood) cus this chap was using a 5" grinder and his pull cord/toggle got caught in the grinder and in the process cut half his face off.
feed the soil not the plants
organicish
you learn gardening by making mistakes

Looky what i've got lurking  8)

you dont leave parked on hoole roundabout do yer alfie ?   nice motor though
Is that place up manley still going ?

No thats not mine on Hoole roundabout, belongs to a guy 'pimping' his failing B&B & antiques shop.
The place at Manley (Mouldsworth Motor Museum) is still going, run by a mate of mine. Worth a trip on a boring wet day when there's only football on the telly

I can probably match you when it comes to strange gadgets, but mine live up in my attic/studio. Four spinning wheels (at the moment...it varies), two drum carders, a table loom, swift and winder and a tottering pile of small gadgets. Oh, and several bins of spinning fibres. None of it has anything to do with gardening though!
