When you say mains pipe - what diameter is it?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Assuming the diameter of the pipe is sufficient, the DIY skills won't be much:

1. cut pipe to desired length
2. stick short length of cane in ground where you want the pipe to go
3. put end of pipe over end of cane
4. put mesh etc cover over pipe.

 :D

You don't need a lot of skill.

Chop it to the desired length & pop it over a cane pushed well into the ground.

Simples!

(That's not to say that Ice hasn't a lot of skill - just that it wasn't needed here).

Is they a minimum diameter that can be used? Or for the matter a maximum???

Size is not an issue.

Bendability is.

Did I say that?
