chickens have new slave/feeder.
« on: July 27, 2011, 09:22 »
A few of you may have read on the other pets section about me gaining a ginger feral cat (so feral that he/she comes when called, purrs away like mad and loves to be stroked  ::)) well this morning I watched Puddy get a mouse and then let my old blackrock have it for breakfast
So it looks like they have Puddy wrapped around their claws too  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.

Well done Puddy, keep up the good work.   :D

Have you still not worked out if Puddy is a he or a she yet Joy?

I have an inkling Puddy is a he as he keeps pointing his rear end towards object (with tail upright) but is not squirting anything so I assume it is because he has been done.
Saw his twin on Sunday and they are identical  :D

Could be a she as they spray when they are in season to attract a male.

Our cat was a rescue cat from RSPCA and when we first saw her she was all friendly rubbing up against our legs and purring.  When we got her home which was a couple of weeks later after the usual checks she was a different cat altogether.  She was so wild that you could not approach her.  I had to pick her up by the scruff as she would claw and bite.  She would wait for our two girls on the stairs to attack their legs as they walked past.  We realised that she must have been in season when we chose her!

Well we have had Puddy for a while now so don't think she/he will change into a monster.
She/he has to stay outside though as Jim is allergic to cats but being an outdoor cat means his/her fur is coarser so it doesn't irritate him  :). Plus the fact that the dogs hate cats  ::)

Ours is about 19 years old now and has mellowed with age.  She can still be fiesty at times though.  Hubby has been suffering from asthma for the last couple of years and I have a feeling the fur might be one of the triggers.  Won't be getting another one when she passes away, have told him to say no - even if I beg.

Almost certainly going to be a boy as only 1 in 2000 ginger cats are female!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

I have a 50% chance as one of these was a girl and the other a boy - both then got done and I'm not sure which one I ended up with (the neighbour whose cat it was thought I had the girl but when it started with the tail thing I assumed it was a boy ).

I would have thought you'd have noticed by now if he was a male and not already 'done'

Ah it's been done  :nowink:

and yes, girlies and boys both spray that way, done or not!

My son had a she cat for years and then took on another cat, a he, and they both spray around the skirting boards as a marker............it's driving him crazy :(
