Title: Dogs and chucks
Post by: tosca100 on April 19, 2012, 19:01
Hi

Mrs T has allowed me access to provide this link for a video of our dogs being socialised with our new hens. The Speckled (Smoky) keeps Bella (black dog) in check with the occasional peck on her nose as she does tend to be a little over enthusiastic about checking out their butts.

Yes, what is it about dogs and chooks butts? My flatcoat is butt crazy, no matter the species of animal. My border terrier, on the other hand, would probably like to grab them by the throat and rid the place of 'vermin'.

Remind me of Raven dog "I don't want to chase them, I just want to be in on everything that's going on".  :D

I wish I knew how to work the video bit on my phone (I'm a technophobe), we've got a grumpy broody who chases my jack russell around the garden, really funny to watch.
