ive been asked by a friend to grow  some bedding plants........just wondered what are popular,easy grown.......i look at the flower seed section and just scratch my head lol.........some for beds some for pots some for both...any tips or advice would be apricated.......cheers and happy gardening  :)

Depends on whether you have a heated greenhouse or not tbh

If not, go for hardy annuals as these can be sown directly where they are to flower, or grown in small modules and transplanted.

Check out seed catalogues as there is a huge huge variety available of all colours and heights  :D

I'm going to try to grow cosmos (again!), calendula, cornflower for starters this year.

I think you might mean geranium?  The true name of bedding geraniums is pelargoniums.
