my new greenhouse
« on: January 31, 2010, 17:22 »
hi all,

after a split with my ex and her not letting me have my greenhouse i have finaly been blessed with a 10X6ft greenhouse for £80.00 in boston, armed with a family member and his hong wheelbase van we went go collect it,

took out the glass and the roof bars, and then just took the front and back off and transported it all in big bits.
my old chap (who im living back with) is a bricky so we put some brickwork up so i have a extra foot height inside.

got the frame built back up and screwed down, glazed with in a day, never brobe a single bit of glass but had to get 5 replacements due to breaks before i bought it.

im now working on a growing bed down one side.

i have a bench in there now and my seed tray rack / staging.

this week i will lay some slabs and put some graven under my bench for drainage and to keep it clean.

will get some photos when im all done but after what iv been through the past few months im well chuffed  :)

many thanks for reading

Good stuff!   So you have power but will you be getting a light in there as well for those dark evenings when you have nothing to do?

The good thing is you can work snug and dry in there when it is piddling down outside, always me feel very smug :) Glad something is going your way.
