As some people know I have got a poorly hen but she seems to be getting better. I have read somewhere that some chickens can survive mareks if so what are the recovery signs ...... or what are worms recovery signs ?

Her breathing has cleared she isnt gasping anymore  
She seems more alert
Drinking and eating againnnnn (wahhooo)
But STILL is week    :?
Shes coming back being noisy (She used to be sonso  :roll: but since going ill she lost it all )



We have been worming her everyday through a sirange(sp) with fluebenvet.

Sounds like your doing a fantastic job Catii

I would imagine it's going to take time to get her back to 100%.
Have you tried some cat food?
Do you feed them just layers pellets or do you give them corn as well?

Might be worth while giving her a bit more corn than usual is you have it, the other thing is mealworms they might perk her up a bit

It's amazing what a little bit of yoghurt will do!  Hens love this treat and it is very good for them too!  Make sure it is the pro-biotic kind and if you can get it fruit flavoured, all the better!  Hope this helps!
