It's gone really hectic in the shop again and we have decided that all we can be bothered to cook is jacket potato with cheese and beans.  We are going to see what happens over the next few days but it looks like I will be going back full time rather than part time as I've been for the last  two months.

Cottage pie, but with a base of chilli rather than a plain mince mix.  I made the potato top a champ version as I had spring onions to use up.

I used Sarpo Una spuds that I had left to go past new potato stage to get to a main crop.  They made a very good mash  :)

Spaghetti Bolognese, a few extra shakes of chilli flakes on top as it's starting to get cold out.

Last night we made tea in our slow cook... 3 tins chopped tomatoes, liver, onions, sausages, mushrooms, bacon, cubed potatoes, black pudding and a schwartz beef caserole sachet... man, it was to die for.. enough left for tea today and freeze the rest!

Overdid it on the homemade pizzas at lunch time, so I think we'll be running round the table for tea.

I’m the other way round jaydig   I had some toast this morning, then managed to skip lunch, so am now pacing waiting for tea to cook  ::)

It is chicken sausages, plot spuds cubed and roasted in oil and seasoning, some mushrooms that need using up which will also be going in the oven and steamed cabbage.  Spoon standing !  I must have that as well (runs to kitchen....)
