Beetroot I Sewed the seeds before the heat wave nothing was coming up when I was watering them now I've noticed after we had A damper of rain they started to pop through will they be okay thanks

If you can, I would protect them from the birds with netting or fleece or something.

I found that sparrows and pigeons pecked away at the leaves.
