Title: Floppy comb

hi all! i have noticed that my copper black's comb has flopped over . is this normal & should i be worried?

How old is she and is she a cross breed that may have floppy combs in their history somewhere? Best thing to do first is to check with the breeder you had it from, or pay them a visit and have a look at the hens. There can be all sorts of throwbacks with cross breeds.
 If she is a purebreed, have a look at the breed standards. Other than that they go off the lay this time of year and combs shrink and go pale in colour so that may be what it is. If she appears healthy and the comb appears to be otherwise okay, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks. She is a copper black maran - hybrid. She is still laying @ the moment . She's still eating , drinking &  scratching around .

We got her@ PoL in August so still young.
