Broody and duck eggs
« on: June 25, 2009, 12:55 »
hi guys

I put some duck eggs under my broody and there due in about two weeks.  I was speaking to a guy today who told me i should be spraying the eggs with water on a daily bases as the mother duck would be doing this herself?

Also he said the day before they hatch i should wet the eggs because ducks dont have a pointy beak like a chicken and they need help? is this true?

Im worried and and thinking maybe i should have put them in the incy instead? (this is my first time with duck eggs)

I always leave mine alone if they're under a broody :)

Duck eggs in the incy are a nightmare in my opinion much better off under a broody :D
