can anyone tell me which garden centre in the hull area has the widest range of potato varieties ?

I generally go up to Reighton Nurseries near Scarborough or to R V Roger near Pickering. I do like a big range and haven't found anywhere in Hull that offers that.

I see you are from Grimsby. I know there are siome good garden centers in Lincolnshire though right now no names are coming to mind. Maybe someone else can make suggestions.

Can't help directly, but I unless someone can point you in the right direction I suggest you leave it another week before looking round - went to my 2 favourite garden centres this afternoon and one hasn't got them in yet, the other had a load of pallets of seed spuds cordoned off, presumably because they've only just arrived. It was the same last year.

Don't be panicked by reports in these forums of Wilco's already having theirs on sale, and others receiving theirs by post - it's still quite early for many 'ordinary' garden centres.

(Having said all that, I did get I wanted because they were selling the variety I wanted loose!  ;))

There's nothing in my local Wilkos. Or the garden centres.

Try Brigg garden centre, was there yesterday but did not see any spuds, last year they had loose and pre packed

been there b4, they just stock the standard varieties, i usually go to johnsons at boston was just wondering if the hull centres had a wider range.
