Yippee! A decent bit o' rain.

I hope everyone is having a splash of rain?  We are in North Wiltshire and it's great.  You can hear the ground slurping it up.

Cheers,  Tony.

Well send it up here instead of keeping it all to yourself. Please. We've had a drying north easterly wind for days and days and days and then some.

Bone dry here in Cumbria withj no rain forecast in the next two weeks. Ironic after one of the wettest winters I can ever remember

Ditto in Yorkshire …
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Lots of lovely rain here to in Oxford, I like the thought of the ground ‘slurping it up’.  My garden has had a good dose chicken manure too so the rain can wash that it in.  Really needed it.
Wash your hands, stay at home, distance yourself

As you can see from the screenshot, tad cloudy over weekend then back to breezy sunny!

We had a lot last night, and it's a change to see the open soil dark instead of just dull grey!

The plant trays are full as well, so that's saved me a job...

It didn't always rain in Manchester when I lived there!

Still nothing here and it's another sunny, windy day. My currant's leaves are starting to curl they are that dry. That's with me watering them. Might change out the fish tank into all the milk jugs the council hasn't lifted and take it up there to water.

Sheffield's 'share' of yesterday's rain was 1mm, which nearly doubled the total over the past 4 weeks!
