If you accept it and do something useful with the extra time it will be a great benefit to you. I occasionally wake up in the night and know that I won't go back to sleep, so I get up and drink lots of weak tea and read. There are lots of night workers who are awake so you are not alone.

Post by: Kate and her Ducks on May 11, 2010, 22:36: Well I'm back in work tonight having left the icubator with 2 pipped eggs in it which happened while I was asleep during the day. Very fruatrating not to be able to keep an eye on them but at least I can't be tempted to interfer if I'm not there.
There are 9 eggs due to hatch wed/thurs so will keep my fingers ctrossed for what I find when I get home.
