hello people  

just fitted a new cutter mandrel on to my murray wide boy ride on mower at the weekend and its working a treat  

just had a thought to share about the V shaped drive belts that they use so thought i'd share it.

after getting fed up of paying £30 -£35 quid for a belt n postage i asked a mate that works at motorworld if he could get me something along the lines, he came up with a belt that looks like its off a HGV and so far its been on all year with no sign of wear and tear    theyre costing me less than£20 a belt so if anyone has a similar/same machine they could save a few quid here, i go through one genuine murray belt every year at least with the amount iot gets used.

will post the part number for it later on, got a spare in the boot now !

part number is 6515 ES

12.5 mm x 2125 mm length

i got it through motorworld but i imagine you could get it from anywhere that had a gates account
