Hi All I need some information The above machine has A B&Stratton engine needing a new coil.On taking of recoil starter seems to have a starter clutch in front of flywheel can I unscrew this normally to get to my Flywheel? Or is the answer going to be more expensive like some sort of puller?

The whole clutch assembly unscrews, it has a normal RH thread but you are supposed to have a special socket to undo it. As a one off, you can use a hammer and drift against the lugs, but I would put the little screws back in to avoid squashing the tapped holes in the lugs. A Belville washer is underneath, and the flywheel needs a sharp knock from behind with a soft hammer to loosen it. The key is soft and only a key made for B & S flywheels should be used. On old B & S engines a set of points are in there, and are far more likely to need a clean than the coil is to need replacing. On later, contactless engines the flywheel doesn't need to come off to replace the coil.
