Title: frost damage
Post by: rowlandwells on February 21, 2021, 16:57
although it was said by the old gardeners that a good winters frost kills the bugs in the ground
is that rite or just an old gardeners tale ?

i do know the frost has claimed a few of our terracotta pots some hand made  >:( its not damaged the concrete pots  the frost has got in some of our stone and brick walls that i will need to repair asap the weather permitting

as for the frost killing the bugs in the ground well when we start cultivating and planting only time will tell I'm not convinced that will be the case if its is going to save me a fortune in slug pellets  :D
