Exciting Offer at Wyevale Garden centre
« on: August 19, 2007, 18:02 »
We have just got back from our local Wyevale Garden Centre having spent about £25.00 purchasing our seeds for next year.  They are again doing what they did last year in that all seeds (sutton and T & M) are 50 pence a packet.
We have saved a small fortune and they are all good for at least another season if not more.  The sweet peas alone saved us £2.40 a packet!!!
Hope you are able to take advantage of this offer.
Now a quick question. If they can reduce prices by this much at this time of year with stock that is good for at least another season, why don't they just reduce the prices across the board and increase sales in general?  Munty over to you!
Enjoying the traditional ways and values of life.

Is it really that long since I posted last - forgive me father!!
It is show time at present so me's been a little busy.
Local Spring show saw a first for best allotment, collection of five veg, two lettuce, beetroot and longest runner bean (16.5").
Got the next show in three weeks and have high hope for that one as I am entering a lot more categories including a number of flowers including Chrysanthemmums and Dahli's
