I noticed one of my chooks a bit off yesterday, still red around her chops, but this morning i found a twisted paper like shell, what is this ?

Noticed also that her discharge along with the white bits is green in colour and looks like fibre !!!!!!

She has laid a soft shelled egg and needs more calcium. Make sure she has access to crushed Oyster shell at all times.

The green fiborous poos could be grass if she is free ranging or worms, your description fits both.

Have you wormed your hens recently ? If not I would get some flubenvet as it is the best wormer available for chickens in my opinion.

she gets wormed, has oyster shell in feed now starting to use apple cider vinegar, i hope as you say it might have cleared out as her rear end seems fine, i guess i will just need to keep an eye on her, once again many thanks
