nobbly potatoes !
« on: June 27, 2009, 19:23 »
I have been harvesting my early potatoes with great excitement (one would have generated just as much, even if it had to be divided 4 ways)! Now my potatoes seem rather nobbly and I am sure you experienced guys and gals will have an explanation for this but I can only see it as advantageous.....
All those little hollows hold lots of delicious melted butter......mmmmm heaven.

Never mind the cholesterol I shall have porridge for breakfast and dig twice as hard over the winter

I am so enjoying this grow your own and have to agree with others this is a great site
thanx all

'epicure' this time, I have 'smile' as seconds but am planning to plant a couple of different varieties next year, it is all a great learning curve and trying to make the most of the available space  ::)
