Rabbit Spraying
« on: August 06, 2010, 16:19 »
I take my rabbit Beano out of her pen and into my house to run around for an hour everyday. But today she sprayed against the sofa today and it has stained the sofa. So how can i stop her spraying? I don't want to have to get her spayed becuase my parents say it is too much money. She is just coming up to 6 months old, so will it just be her maturing or will it carry on?
Thanks

Do you have other pets as well? It sounds territorial. I have two females, both are not spayed and are now nearly 2 years old and they have never sprayed and are fully litter trained. It may be worth working on full litter training with her and also check nothing is spooking her around the house causing the spraying.  :)
