Title: advice needed please sore bum

Ive just been to see my friends buff orpingtons as she had a panic on. One of the girls has what i can only describe as 3 cysts below her vent. It looks very sore. She has just comee out of a very heavy molt and i was wondering if i was like feathers growing internally. Anyone got any ideas.  Thanks.

oooh sounds nasty  :(. If the feathers are growing inwards they will need pulling out so they can grow straight, but could they be skin burns from sleeping in nest boxes on pooh? A vets visit would be in order I think.

Thanks for the reply joy.  She has been to the vet and its where the new feathers are coming thru nothing to worry about. Panic over.
