I'm sorry if there' s loads of stuff about this I did try and search, before posting, honest. :)
We all at the end of growing season, so I thought it's time for the ultimate save it all you can mood.

Pickle 'Csalamade': Translates nothing, so I guess, it's an old word for brickabrack in kitchen terms.
Anyhow, it's to put anything to good use that you might have in your garden at this time.

here it goes: equal quantities of cucumber, onion, green tomatoes, sweet peppers, and if you wish, half amount of white cabbage. All finely shredded or chopped.
Any favourite pickling water will do, as long, as you do not overflavour it, thanks , but you got to hold in mind, it's a  flavoursome stuff.
Use pickling water at 20-25% sugar and 20% mild (10-20%) VINEGAR to 1 l of water.
Add anything else, you 've got, wee corquettes, little green melons, water melons, anything that never gonna make it goes.  All finely chopped.

3-4% percent of salt  and let it stand for a day(mixed well), bottle up an d cover with pickling water.
Can and should be seasoned with chilies.
Can be seasoned with garlic, dill, coriander, mustard seed, pepper corns.

If you do not put preservatives in should keep 2-3 months, if you do not eat it by then :lol:  :lol:
