The tub of beef & parsnip casserole in Guinness gravy turned out to be very little beef so I made it into a pressure cooker stew with everything that needed using up in the fridge, was very nice, included potatoes, carrots, freshly harvested swede :nowink:, peppers, celery, baked beans & tinned tomatoes

I have really bad curry munchies but also a bad case of CBA which puts me in a bit of a pickle.  I did soak and simmer some dried beans yesterday, I may end up with bean chilli as a half way measure.

There's some chicken in the slowcooker it's probably going to end up as a chicken dinner.

There is a stinking cold going round at work that I have been fending off for about a week, but today it has got me.  OH is just about to go and get Indian takeaway and I’ve opted for a chicken jalfrezi which is hotter than I usually go.

I’m going to try and burn the cold out with chillies … if I can eat it  Wish me luck

Commiserations NS, hope the curry does the trick.
Home cooked ham joint, firstly slow cooked & then 15 minutes in the air fryer with a marmalade glaze, with roast potatoes, steamed carrots & for me Brussels. A rather nice cheese sauce even if I say so myself, used some of the stock from the ham in place of the milk & a tub of Mclleland spready cheese, cornflour to thicken & some grated cheese stirred through, very tasty.
