Title: Wierd egg, nestbox and wardrobes

My duck laid this today it must go down as the wierdest egg I have ever seen :?

While I am on this is theuse we made of an old single wardrobe turned on its side with a mesh front made of old bits of wood, now being used by Squeek it made a brilliant broody cage for a while and its nice and big and high enough for a hen too

Was the ducky egg a soft helled one Sandra ?

Do the ducks get oyster shell ?

No it was hard and you don't really need to give ducks shell as they get lots of grit from puddling mud etc but I do give some in a pot just to be on safe side and they do eat it.

One of them seems to have a blip every now and again :cry:

Hard !  Ever seen a duck egg like that before.  

The nests look like a big hit  :D
