Title: 5 very p'd off hens tonight!
Post by: Casey76 on May 08, 2010, 17:50
For the first time in their lives, my hens are behind a fence... and they are NOT HAPPY about it

They were all giving me looks which could peel paint as they marched up and down the fence line looking for a gap in my defences :tongue2:

Hopefully this now means I cam primp my front garden so it doesnt look so, er, jungle like; and that any bedding plants or bulbs I plant will actually have time to flower - rather than being dug out again in a few days!

Oh you were too right >:( it took about half an hour before they found chinks in my defences...

So I'm off to buy chicken wire to create a skirt along the bottom so the can't climb under the fence (!) I never knew hens could limbo so low! and for along the bottom of my terrace so they can't jump on the compost bins, and then up to the terrace to escape... very inventive these hens I tell you! :tongue2:
