All day yesterday we had heavy, heavy rain. Of course my hens were far too daft to stay undercover, and by tea time they were thoroughly soaked.

It's amazing to see all of the floof just melt away from the brahmas, - which ended up looking like turkey poults lol!

Sorry, no photos, though the way the weather looks I could get some tonight!

And don't worry... when I let them out this morning they were all fluffy and dry again

Mine are the same! Always stay out in the rain and end up looking like drowned rats

I do feel sorry for them but they do have a really sheltered bit to hide in in the rain... can't force them to use it though!

Ditto here, I'm getting wet putting up extra shelter and they stand in the rain watching me thinking what a fool I am :blink:
