My strawberries were being picked, red and green ones, and stored in piles amongst the strawberry plants in a raised bed on the allotment.  After searching here and finding a reference to mice I set a trap last night and, sure enough, this morning I found I had caught a mouse.  Will the hoarding now stop, until another mouse finds the strawberries, or is there a gang of them and will I be catching a mouse a day until the strawberries have finished cropping?

Correct as usual Yorkie.  I have caught a few in the traps and they now live elsewhere.  I am no expert in mice behaviour but the hoarding has stopped and I have had a couple of punnets from the plot.  So I will put the traps in next year on the first sign of green strawberries.
