Title: poultry auctions

hi last year there was a poultry auction at a garden centre /shop at deeside n.wales (cant remember naame) does anybody know if they still have them and when they are ,i know of chelford but is there any others n.wales,cheshire way cheers shaun

They have them every month in Charlies, Queensferry, in  the garden centre department. We went once for a nosey, but to be honest you would be better going to a supplier of pol. It is not an auction though, just a chap selling his stock. He has a few pol, but a lot of pure bred trios. The pol go very quickly, but as we watched he never asked anyone if they had the facilities to keep chickens, and there were families with parents discussing if they should buy some for the kids.

cheers tosca whens the next one at charlies ? i can never make it too chelford . what are the prices like at charlies?

Tou will need to get in touch with the store, I don't live down there any more, sorry. As far as I remember they were about £20 each, which is £6 more than we paid from a breeder.

jeez thats dear ,gonna give a place at corwen a ring poultry orchard see if they got anything ready to go.
