Sorry to out-do the 39p seed post, but i though some would be interested in the seeds i saw in Netto.

19p a pack for flowers and veg, i got cabbage, raddish, spring onion, leek, beetroot, parsnips and carrots. And 2 types of marigolds.

Bargain!!

They are called "Country Value" and have the same postcode on the back as Mr Fothergills seeds. They are based here in newmarket so if your local netto doesn't have them and you want me to buy some and post them out, let me know!!

I've grown country value seeds - my local garden centre stocks them - and they were fine.  Spring onions, radish and leek as I remember.   Might have been slightly reduced germination levels, but at that price, who can complain?

Be aware that the bargain pkt`s can have 20 seeds while the expensive ones have 2000.
Always check what you are actually getting for the money.

i used netto seeds last year and had great results was lucky to manage to stock up for this year because our local netto closed  :(nearest is  about 45 miles away but hopefully will make a trip because the amount  of seeds and value is great .our dwarf beans produced 2lb of beans every other day from june until sept (that was from 2 packets)
