We have nine  of various ages, mixed in with the hens. A few eggs but they roost in the apple tree and are super "watch dogs" if any person or animal comes close to the run they squawk at any time, day or night.

We've hatched a few, under a chicken, over the years and have just realised that the oldest was hatched in 2000. She doesn't see very well and now sleeps in the chicken house with the hens but her quality of life is good. Anyone got any older?
