1 month today and it all started with a path full of asbestos and glass, a garden full of glass and 2 square feet of cabbages.

The guy who uses the other half used this section as a place to throw things and I am pleased to say, me and the kids not only broke the back of it but have turned it into somewhere we actually love being, mind you, I think I broke my back too, when I look at how bad it actually was in the beginning, felt like we had a mountain to climb.

Complete with the final entry - 4 chucks and some left over turf...happy days!

Thats my youngest, Emma, Alice is not as enthusiastic...

Now, a homebrew kit me thinks..

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

Really nice job, DL. Amazing what a bit of determination will accomplish. And it's never too young to start apprentices

Well done!
Are the red hens sussexes?
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

Thanks all - all worth it I can tell you.

The red's are Rhode Island Sussex according to the breeder, obviously hybrids, the black chucks are black Coo coo (coo coo, cu cu? No idea how to spell it lol)
