Lamb steaks marinaded in garlic and rosemary with mashed potatoes, buttery leeks and parsnips + carrots frizzled up with some honey and mustard.
I had some of the buttery leeks with some peas and cheese. As well as the carrots and parsnips.
I made some of Val's recipe onion marmalade. Yummmmmmmyyy. I added a spoon of home made and home grown fruit redcurrant jelly and licked the spoon afterwards. Wow. The difference between it and shop bought is astounding and beyond description. You wouldn't know they were the same fruit, it was playing with almost all the taste buds. Sweet, sour, tangy, fruity. I'm never buying it again.
